April to May sees more teams added to our player database including many up and coming teams who don’t have the typical sponsors most teams have. The EC2-A drops a percentage point, whereas the FK1/FK2 are now tied for 4th and 5th. The Deathadder remains at 15% and the Zowie EC1-A also sees a slight drop in 1% as more players use atypical mice such as the Kana v2, FinalMouse TP, and QPAD DX-20.
The G-SR remains the most popular mousepad with SteelSeries once following closley behind. Not much changed in the usage of mousepads this month as SteelSeries tends to be the go-to for up and coming players whereas most professional players with brandnames and starpower tend to focus on the G-SR. Razer Goliathus and the G640 still remain in our 4th/5th spots but are slowly being caught up by the Xtrfy XTP1-L4-ENCE-1 and HyperX Fury Pro.
Once again, as more unknown teams are added to our database we see more spread among the market share of manufacturers. All five top placing manufacturers from the prior month see a slight decrease as Roccat, Tesoro, Ducky Shine, EpicGear, and others slowly enter into our database. Still, the change is very minuscule overall.
Headphones, like mousepads and keyboards overall drop a few percentages as new headphones are added. Sennheiser which is not listed has 8 different headphones being used by professional players. The real news here; however, is that the HyperX Cloud I’s enter the listing replacing the Corsair Void RGB.
